Dual motor all-wheel-drive Model 3s could go into production as early as July, according to Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk.
Musk responded to a question on Twitter about the timing of the dual motor cars, saying the company needs to achieve a production rate of 5,000 Model 3s a week before adding complexity to the manufacturing line.

A couple dual motor Model 3s have been spotted in the wild.
TMC member sreams saw what he believes to be a performance dual-motor Model 3 at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, Calif. And Tesla podcaster Ryan McCaffrey posted a photo to Twitter in February that shows a Model 3 with a VIN denoting it was a standard, non-performance dual-motor car.
