SpaceX Delays Commercial Crew Mission Until Sunday

Due to weather, SpaceX and NASA have postponed today’s Crew-1 mission until Sunday, Nov. 15 at 7:27 p.m. ET.

The flight will mark the first time since 2011 that a full operational crew has launched from U.S. soil. Earlier this year SpaceX became the first private spaceflight company to launch American astronauts from American soil with Demo-2 Crew Dragon test flight. The flight will take off from Pad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Astronauts participating in the mission to the International Space Station include Americans Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover and Shannon Walker, and Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi.
