Tesla Aims to Fix Australian Power Woes

Tesla’s energy division head Lyndon Rive said this week that his company could solve Australia’s energy troubles within just 100 days. Tesla CEO Elon Musk then turned to Twitter and offered to install $25 million worth of battery storage within 100 days or the job would be free.

Australia has been trying to combat power outages, which have at times crippled industry.

Musk made the offer on Twitter, which quickly received an inquiry from Australian billionaire Michael Cannon-Brookes, the co-founder of Atlassian.

The government has acknowledged that it is considering the offer.
