A photo of the semi truck Tesla plans to unveil in September was teased by CEO Elon Musk during his recent TED talk. Musk has reportedly driven a prototype of the product and described it as a sportscar-like, “spry truck.”
After Musk surprised the industry with a plan to unveil the truck in the fall, many questioned if the all-electric semi would be capable of handling heavy payload over hundreds of miles. However, Musk confirmed in his TED talk that the truck will be capable of long hauls.
