Tesla has tweaked its ordering process, now bundling options into Standard, Premium, and Performance packages.
The change in process has been rolled out to the online configurator. A comparison of the packages for a Model S are below.
Buyers can still upgrade certain options, depending on their selected package. For instance, an upgraded sound system is “Available” as an option in the Premium package, but is considered a “Custom” build if wanted for the Standard package.
