Take a Look Inside The Boring Company’s Test Tunnel

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Elon Musk recently posted a photo of a Tesla Model S being lowered into a tunnel dug in Los Angeles by The Boring Company and now we get a look inside the tunnel.

Musk posted a new photo to Instagram that shows a Model S inside the 13.5 foot diameter tunnel. Musk’s plan is to transport vehicles through the tunnel on “electric skates” at speeds up to 130 mph.[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5V_VzRrSBI” video_title=”1″][vc_column_text]The Boring Company has completed a 160-ft initial phase of the tunnel underneath SpaceX’s parking lot in Hawthorne, Calif. and recently received city approval for a 2-mile stretch of tunnel. The goal for the first leg of the network is to dig from Los Angeles International Airport to Culver City, Santa Monica, Westwood and Sherman Oaks.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
