Musk Calls Tesla Semi ‘Unreal,’ Pushes Debut to October

Elon Musk said on Twitter Wednesday that the Tesla Semi debut has been pushed to October 26, but hyped the forthcoming all-electric truck by calling it “unreal.”

The truck was originally supposed to make its debut at the end of September.

Musk isn’t the only one hyping the “beast.” Morgan Stanley recently said Tesla’s efforts could be ‘the biggest catalyst in trucking in decades’ and predicted that the electric truck could be 70% cheaper to operate than a diesel-powered truck.

There are few public details about the truck, but Reuters recently reported that the truck’s range is likely to be 200–300 miles.
