EPA Lists Long-Range Model 3 at 310 Miles

The EPA has confirmed a range of 310 miles for the long-range version of the Tesla Model 3, making the car one of the most efficient on the market.

The Model 3’s 126 MPGe combined city and highway is second only to the Hyundai Ioniq Electric, which manages 136 MPGe.

Tesla has said the long range Model 3 is capable of 310 miles on a single charge. But, a document submitted to the EPA by Tesla in June reveals the EPA-cycle test came up to 334 miles, 24 more than Tesla’s own suggestion. So, the document now notes 310 miles as the “Tesla Desired Range” for the pricier version of the Model 3.

Tesla has said the base Model 3 will have a range of 220 miles.
