Several TMC members who are anxious to be first-time Tesla owners were delighted to discover today that Tesla is extending invitations to configure their Model 3.
Previously, invitations were only extended to current Tesla owners.
Unfortunately, those reservation holders are still limited to the ‘Long Range’ Model 3 with the premium interior package. The $35,000 standard battery pack version of the Model 3 isn’t expected to be offered until late 2018.
TMC members receiving invitations to configure their first Tesla are reporting delivery estimates of three to six weeks.
