Tesla’s latest update included a feature for man’s best friend.
“Dog Mode” uses the vehicle’s sensors to keep the cabin temperature comfortable for pets that may be left in the car. The mode also shows a message on the center display telling passers-by the interior temperature and that the owner will return soon.
This is in addition to existing Cabin Overheat Protection, which come on automatically at high temps to ensure any babies or pets in the car are safe

The feature controls are located in the climate control menu under the Keep Climate On option via a button labeled “Dog.”
Dog Mode was developed after a suggestion to Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk from a canine-love Tesla owner on Twitter.
