Tesla Pulls Mid Range Pack From Model 3 Lineup

Tesla has dropped the Mid Range battery pack from its Model 3 lineup.

The vehicle was brought to market back in October as a sort of bridge to the Standard Model 3 that was introduced this month. The Mid Range car was made available to leverage the full U.S. federal tax credit, which was cut in half in the new year.

But, now that Tesla is officially offering a $35,000 Model 3, it makes sense that they would end production of the Mid Range version. Tesla’s website was updated Saturday to remove the option.

Tesla’s Model 3 lineup now consists of Standard Range, Standard Range Plus, and the Long Range pack.
