Tesla’s infotainment system has gained a game even more classic than Atari – Chess.
Tesla drivers can either play against fellow passengers, against their car or watch the car play against itself. Tesla released last week a video teaser for the Chess game, which shows a owner in cowboy garb prepared to duel her red Model 3.
Tesla announced earlier this year plans to offer more gaming options for the entertainment systems available in its cars. In fact, the company used the in-car games as a marketing effort, inviting consumers to showrooms to “experience the new Tesla Arcade.”
One of the titles introduced this year was a racing game called Beach Buggy Racing 2, which is controlled with the vehicle’s steering wheel when the car is parked. Tesla announced an update last week that will enable passengers to use two game controllers at once for a multiplayer experience.
