If nothing else, Tesla’s official account, videos shares, and press releases are up a notch … or 10.
Well, well, well. To date, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has proven successful with promoting the company via his seemingly ever-constant Twitter engagement and substantial following (it’s important to note that his massive social media presence has also come back to bite him on a few occasions).
Still, we believe that Musk’s huge Twitter following and regular interactions have helped the automaker more that it has hurt it. This is partly due to the reality that Tesla doesn’t have an advertising budget, and thus, doesn’t advertise in the traditional sense.
Interestingly, over the course of the last few months or so, Tesla has taken its company Twitter account to new levels. We’re still questioning who may be now running the account. It certainly could be Musk. People have said in the past they believe the CEO is using that account as well. However, the new posts, engagement, and style — while super fun and hilarious — don’t seem to be penned by the CEO.
At any rate, Tesla sent out a few recent tweets about its new V10 software update, which we’ve embedded below:
First up: Cuphead.

In this run-and-gun game you:
• have a cup for a head
• have gambled your soul with the Devil (and lost)
• and have to collect souls (with the help of little finger guns)
Get ready to have fun, but also get ready to rage quit. A lot. pic.twitter.com/42HPDuk7o6
Where have you parked your Tesla?

But also, who cares?

Do you have friends?

Make them into enemies with your questionable taste in music AND your awful singing voice with Car-aoke.
(We didn’t post a video because you don’t want to hear Tesla engineers belting out Old Town Road. Trust us.)
Tesla Theater turns your car into your living room while parked, so you can:

• Make everyone watch that AMAZING YouTube video you HAVE to see (which you definitely don’t have to see)
• Watch live TV on @hulu
• @netflix & charge
You don’t know what to do. You don’t know what to eat.

You trust the opinion of strangers, but you don’t want to talk to them.
With V10, your Tesla can direct you to the nearest highly rated places and the best food. You just need to say whether you’re feeling 🍀 or 😋. pic.twitter.com/KVayDPEAtu
Yes, it goes on and on and on. Tesla calls this V10 software update its “largest update ever.” And, it’s important to note that the automaker is not stopping here. Tesla owners will continue to benefit from incremental over-the-air updates on a regular basis into the future.
