Tesla’s online parts catalog has been updated with a few performance upgrades that seem ready to take to the track.
The catalog shows a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 – 245/35ZR20 (95Y) XL tires with a note that they’re part of a “Track Mode Package.”
The current tires shipped with the Tesla Model 3 Performance are the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
Michelin’s Pilot Sports Cup 2 were developed in partnership with AMG SLS Coupe Black Series, Porsche 918 Spyder and 911 GT3, and Ferrari 458 Speciale.
Michelin describes the tires as original equipment on on “the Fastest Track Models,” Ultimate Dry Traction, and Ultimate Track Treadlife.
