The Tesla Model Ys are out for testing, as motorists continue to see the all-electric crossover on public roadways.
The sightings are leading to a few possible new details about the vehicle, including badging that hints at a performance version and wheels that look a lot like the set shown on the prototype Model 3.
TMC member Keith909man shared a photo of a white Model Y spotted on the road. The car’s “Dual Motor” badge is underlined in red, hinting that it’s possibly a performance version.
The unreleased “turbine” wheels from the Model 3 unveiling in 2016 have been a popular wishlist item for Tesla watchers. The wheels on the Model Y have a very similar design. It will be interesting to see if the will be available on the Model Y, as well as the Model 3.
