Greg Milano has created a “mashterpiece.”
Milano has carried out a tradition of sculpting his mashed potatoes since he was a kid. He often searches the headlines for inspiration. This year the Tesla Cybertruck was a topic of conversation amongst family members assembled for Thanksgiving, so he chose to sculpt the all-electric truck in spuds.
“The hardest part was definitely the geometric lines of the design, keeping the proportions correct, achieving the illusion that it is sitting on four wheels and creating the thin walls of the bed of the truck with the tailgate down,” Milano told CNN.
The sculpture captured the Cybertruck with the bed ramp down, showing off a unique feature of the truck. He also smashed the windows “by popular request,” recreating the botched demo during the pickup’s reveal.
And, of course, he had to fill the bed with gravy.
