Trucking Company Expects Tesla Semi Deliveries in Q2

A trucking company that has reserved several units of the Tesla Semi told a news outlet that they expect first deliveries in the second quarter of 2020.

The Washington Business Journal spoke with JK Moving founder and Chief Executive Chuck Kuhn who said six Tesla Semi trucks are expect in Q2, followed by a second round of trucks later. The company also ordered 10 sleeper trucks for long-hauls.

Kuhn reportedly visited Tesla’s factory in 2017 to see the Semi in person and walked away impressed with the “tremendous technology.”

Tesla announced in its Q4 2019 update that the company is producing “limited volumes” of the Semi in 2020. The company originally planned for a release date in late 2019.
