Rivian has announced new details on its upcoming electric trucks and SUVs.
The company said the Launch Edition of R1T pickup will cost $75,000 and the R1S SUV will be priced at $77,500. Both versions will have more than 300 miles of range on a single charge.
Rivian will be among the first to market with an all-electric truck. The first R1T pickups are scheduled for delivery in June 2021, with the first R1S SUV to be delivered in August.
Customers can choose between two equipment packages: Adventure or Explore. Both will feature an all-glass roof, WiFi with 4G capability and a flashlight in the driver’s side door.
The Explore edition will be available in January 2022 for $67,500.
Rivian’s products seem competitively priced in the emerging electric pickup and SUV market. Tesla’s Cybertruck will start at $39,900, while the GMC Hummer is priced at $113,000.
