Reviews Are Positive for Latest Autopilot Update; Handles Narrow Bridges, Twisty Roads

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The latest software release for Tesla’s Autopilot 2.0 is receiving positive reviews from TMC members, with many saying the autonomous driving system has surpassed the once more capable Autopilot 1.0.

Many note improvements such as better lane detection, less “ping-ponging” within a lane, better vision when topping hills, and smoother Autosteer.

Tesla’s Autopilot 2.0, developed in-house, previously failed to meet the performance of Autopilot 1.0, which leveraged tech from Mobileye. The latest release, however, is an impressive and promising development from Tesla.
