Former Director of Global Product Planning – Tesla | Director of Sales – Lucid Motors
Zak Edson is Director of Marketing for Lucid Motors, leading the company’s branding, marketing, and communications.
Zak’s career has covered many areas of the Internet and high tech. He was part of pioneering efforts at eBay and Tesla Motors, a turnaround effort in the Games division at CBS Interactive, and Director of Web and Interactive Communications at UC Davis.
Zak joined Tesla shortly after prototypes of the Roadster were shown to the world. His first job was running the newly formed Member Services Department, and he later ran Global Product Planning. His accomplishments include strong customer retention during the development period of the Roadster, an evolution of the Roadster based on market feedback and profitability needs, and development of the product marketing specifications for the Model S.
Zak holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
