I’d be grateful for some advice please.
I am considering buying a 2017 Model X 60D (registered 30.3.17) from a non Tesla dealer. A few questions I’d welcome comments on
1. The seller tells me it has transferrable free supercharging. I’ve read conflicting things about this but gather that early 2017 models that haven’t been resold by Tesla should have transferrable free supercharging. Anyone know if this is the case and/or how I might confirm it?
2. I gather it is possible to unlock the additional software locked battery to convert it to a 75D. Anyone able to confirm if this is still the case? I’ve read the cost historically was circa £2.1k. Might having to contact Tesla to unlock the additional battery capacity result in removal of the unlimited supercharging?
3. What is a realistic real world range for a 60D. Obviously this depends on driving style/ use of cabin heating etc. I’ve found with my model2019 3 SR+over my 4 years of ownership I have averaged 220kwh/mile which means I have been getting pretty much bang on the Tesla quoted range. Should I expect to get the Tesla quoted range for the X too?

Dose anyone know how you could have gotten or when tesla had factory installed the iphone dock kit in the Model S?

I wanted to ask what kind of wheel & tire sets Tesla offered in the old configurator, What brands and model of the tire?

I have a Model S (Ludicrous Mode) that I purchased almost three years ago. It is coming close to its MOT date. I wanted to find out if people have any recommendations. I am based in North London. I already spoke with Tesla and seems like they do not handle these themselves. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Following a major accident I would like to know if the tri motor on my plaid can be damaged if the tow truck operator drags the car with motors locked as battery is non operable due to tripped fuse.
the car is being repaired before battery is tested, electronics assessed nd computer is assessed. (Cart before the horse). Car is still not ready due to parts backlog after 5 months. Repair at bout $60,000.00 at this point. Any opinion would be appreciated.

Hi all,

I have been having a problem for about a week now, and trying to pinpoint the problem. I don't know if it's the car, my house or ghosts in the machine.

At home, with the wall charger, the car will stop charging after a few minutes. I also tried the mobile charger, which does the same thing.
I reset the breaker and there is no change. I also reset the car.

No errors or notifications.

What is confusing me is that I am at a mall free public charging station now for a half hour and it seems to be charging fine.

Why would both my wall charger and mobile charger fail?

Hello! I’m just reaching out to see if there are any Tesla owners in Pullman that can help us out. This is our first trip up here and we didn’t realize that the destination charger was only one. We don’t have our adapter and I’m trying to see if anyone has a garage charger that we can use. We’re down to 5%!

2018 MX, 7-passenger. Middle row bench, single seat behind passenger seat will not lock in place. It slides forward and backward and will not lock. Anyone have this experience? Tesla looked at it for 2 mins, shrugged, and said we need to replace seat for $3000.

I have a Model Y and had steering wheel lock when driving. The car was towed in for service. My question is this, the service center completed the repair by replacing the steering rack (RWD). Does this rack impact my car which is a AWD? I don't know if the two are related, but I thought I'd ask here. Thank you.

And other ones too, Why am i seeing more of these around, Mainly seen them on here.

I have an Android phone and have already connected my G3 Tesla Wall Connector to my home wifi. I noticed Tesla has an option to add the Wall Connector as a managed product. I am unable to connect to my Wall Connector's wifi, so I tried to connect manually via my home wifi. The problem is the Tesla app prefixes the SSID with "TealaWallConnector_"; there is no way to overwrite this. How should I be connecting to the Wall Connector so that I can add it to my list of managed products?

I have 2023 midnight silver MY. The last time I washed and dried it, I found spots on the window trim. I did a pretty good job of removing water spots from the paint, but I haven’t had any luck with this metallic trim. They don’t seem to be simple water spots.
I’d appreciate any suggestions.

Friends, this is my first post, apologies if I am not posting following stablished protocol!
I looked for the answer but did not find it.
I am trading my 2022 Model Y performance for a 2023 Model X and I have a full size rim and tire for it, as well as a Modern Spare kit, the bolt pattern is different ( 5x120 Model X vs 5x114.3 fo the Model Y) I have seen some adapters at eBay, Amazon and others, my question is; would I have a safety issue because of the size and weight of the X? Do I need to buy new items for the new vehicle and spend a lot of money again? Is there a simple way to do this?
I have been reading a lot of the posts and I really like the information provided, keep up the good work!
