      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I use this supercharger a lot as it’s local and relatively easy to access. No awkward car park entrances or charges to negotiate. Sadly, there’s now a sign saying it’s being decommissioned from 1 December 2020! I assume this is because the wretched Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has earmarked the Crystal Building, where it’s situated, for his new City Hall? <br />
<br />
North of the river, this leaves only 4 at Canary Wharf (hefty parking fees, security checks, and tight corners) and 2 at the Tower...<br />

Tesla wallchargers and public/outdoor have this button on the plug/connector, used to remotely open the chargeport and to unlock the port enabling extraction of the connector. Just like Superchargers have.<br />
<br />
I have a Mennekes Type2 wallbox at home with a standard Type2 cable. It has no button or anything. The wallbox is from 2014 so it‘s long out of warranty. Inside the wallbox, there are the usual 5 power related cables and the two pilot-cables for communication with the car.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Please note that from 1st July Tesla owners who get off Southbound will NOT be able to drive off the motorway and nip back onto the northbound SC as electric number recognition bollards are being fitted. I have alerted Tesla but the only way now to charge when going South is to do a 13 mile detour or go past and drive north before doing the opposite to go south again...hope this makes sense! We try to drive in an eco-friendly way but this simply adds mileage:-(<br />

Tesla UK have taken possession of their new facility in Aberdeen, Scotland, after formal planning permission was approved early in June.  They are currently using it as a base for test drives, but will soon have to vacate it again while it gets a thorough refurbishment as the Sales and Service Centre for north east Scotland, complete with eight Supercharger stalls. It has not yet been announced if the Superchargers will be V2,...<br />

We usually use the toll roads route of Calais - Reims - Dijon - Geneva - Chamonix and stay overnight near Dijon when heading south and Tinqueux near Reims when heading North. Also expect to need to charge in Chamonix too (staying at a house without a charger).  Will fully charge at Folkestone before getting on the train and hope to be able to charge at hotel in Dijon on way down.  TIA for...<br />

I just got a M3P in UK in December, and happily driving winter here. I&#039;m planning a trip to lake Lucerne in February and a little concerned if the performance tyres will be ok. Mostly it&#039;ll be Autobahn in Belgium, Germany and Switzerland,  but coming off the highway onto to ordinary (steep) roads to get down to the hotel, am I going to need winter tyres for that 15 minute trek, or will 4WD be adequate. I wonder if anyone has experience with that?<br />
