I'll be picking up my Model S soon and the car will only have summer tires when I take delivery.

Does anyone have any recommendations for where to go to get some winter tires? I have a few more snowboard trips I want to do, so I absolutely need them.

I'm interested in 245/45R19 winter tires with alloys preferably.

I'm considering checking out my local Costco, Autobacs, Yellowhat, etc.
I've also had a look online, Amazon, Yahoo Auction, Google shopping, etc
I also checked Fujicorporation...

Living in Sendai and going snowboarding often during winter season, I've always been told to add undercoat protection to my cars to protect it from snow, ice, water, sand, sea salt etc etc.

Is this at all necessary on Teslas?

I've read on the other community forums that the underside of the Model S and X are completely covered by a solid sheet of metal (steel, aluminum, some titanium, with a plastic coating I believe).
So it should be protected from rust I believe?
I just wanted to check...

Hey Tesla Owners in Japan! I run an idea management platform, and we've started a community to gather and organize the best ideas for Tesla vehicles from around the world. We recently enabled support for Japanese, and we'd love to hear from you and get your feedback! Head on over to teslaideas.ideascale.com (set your browser language to Japanese - it should automatically work). Thanks!
