I wanted to start a thread describing the trip down Baja California that I’m doing this winter break. I had seen the destination chargers deployed down the peninsula, and wanted to try them out! We are driving a 2017 ModelX P100D with a basket attached to our trailer hitch for extra space. With me, my wife, and our 4 kids, space is at a premium.

Our first night, we crossed the border in Tijuana and headed south to the supercharger in Ensenada.
The Ensenada charger is a upgraded v2,...

Does anyone have experience with a Tesla that spends a lot of time near a tropical beach? I’m concerned about whether they would experience problems with corrosion of the electronics.

I have a TM3 in Canada. I plan that sometime in the next couple of years I will be spending six months of the year in a beachfront house near Zihuatanejo. I would like to have a Tesla there... ideally a CyberTruck, but maybe a TM3.

Much of my electronic equipment there lasts only a few years due to...

This is extremely strange. . . The only record I can find of this thing's existence is on my GPS. It's not on the Tesla Supercharger website, and it's not on supercharge.info. . . There's nobody talking about it anywhere that I can find. It's so strange!

Anyone know anything about this? I'd love to head down for some cheap golf and even cheaper food/hotel for a little stay-cation. And it'd be great to fill up when I get there in 30 mins. The one thing I thought, I knew I can trust is...

This is some good news! A new Supercharger has just opened up in Guaynabo at the San Patricio Plaza (in Puerto Rico!). This is a 2-stall 72 kW Supercharger, located on a temporary pallet, that per my source, opened just today! This is a giant step for SCs in Puerto Rico, and I know there will be more to come. Will add this on Supercharge Info!
The chargers are at the Sonoran Sun resort on Sandy Beach. Available free for owners and guests, and a small charge for others.. There are two chargers for Teslas and one for other electric cars.
