When I did my test drive I found that I could not raise the viewing angle up enough. I didn&#039;t think to check the VIN, so not sure how recent the car was made. I have seen the thread on how to clip the internal tabs out of the way to allow full adjustment, but was hoping that would not have to be my path.]]></content:encoded>

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[On the <a href="https://www.tesla.com/modely" target="_blank" class="externalLink" rel="nofollow">main Model Y page on Tesla&#039;s website</a>, they are now showing new wheels on the featured image of the vehicle (I don&#039;t recall this being the case?). These are not an option in the design studio, but <a href="https://ww.electrek.co/2020/01/04/tesla-model-y-prototype-spotted-new-wheels/" target="_blank" class="externalLink" rel="nofollow">we have seen them on the prototypes all over the country</a>. I have a feeling these will be the standard Performance wheel:<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I&#039;m still waiting on Blendmount to create a mirror attachment for my radar detector. Once they do, I&#039;ll do a more permanent mount and route of radar detector and associated wires. In the meanwhile, I did a temporary mount using a magnetic phone mount. I just tucked the wires under the trim of the middle console all the way back and through a small crack in the rear of the console. I then plugged it into the 12V plug in the console. Hope you find this useful, while waiting for something more...<br />

I bought RPM Tesla’s “real wood” console overlay last summer. Got it installed. Had some adherence issues, mostly solved by clamps, and creative levering where I cant clamp. However, one area I thought I had nixed keeps popping up, no pun intended. See attached. These two corners have decided they wont stay down. Marked A and B.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Took delivery of my white LR mY last Saturday and as I was driving down I-95 a couple of days ago a piece of debris fell off the back of a pickup and bounced right into my bumper causing several deep scratches as seen in the attached pictures.  There are no impact dents, just several scratches through the paint.  It really sucks...the car was just 3 days old and I had an appt to get ppf done in a couple days.  <br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I am planning to have a ceramic coating applied to my 2021 Model Y. A local detailer&#039;s website says, as part of their ceramic coat package, they will apply a layer of topcoat on all windows. I&#039;m not opposed to this, unless this is not a good idea. <br />

Now, I have read somewhere, perhaps on this website, that Tesla does not recommend putting Rain-X in the window washer fluid. However, I have not seen any warnings about putting topcoat on Tesla windows.<br />

So, topcoat on all windows? Good idea?...<br />

In my  model 3 it was great that you could direct the airflow from the dashboard vents right at your face or even above your head. . In my Y when putting the airflow as high as possible it only hits the back of steering wheel hub.  It can’t even hit me in the face.  The passenger side does the same thing. Is everyone else’s dashboard ventilation the same.  I hope my can be fixed. <br />
