Umm... right. If you put what I said in context you'll see I was responding to chimpanzee's assertion that the Tesla colors are bland. In that sentence I was referring to bright colors, which doesn't include Signature Green. (Though you can take the modifier "pretty much" to be a hedge against that and other colors Tesla may refuse to offer.)

Yes, it will cost you. At the Menlo Park opening, Zak indicated that Lotus charges a premium for custom colors and of course Tesla will charge a premium on top of that.

Looks like this may be the first Fusion Red Roadster:

I like the "over the shoulder" camera angle. Fusion Red looks nice!

Electric Blue. Pictures don't do it justice, you have to see it in person.

Going through the owner's page pictures, I'm pleasantly surprised that really, this is a car that looks good in just about any color combination. Very few cars are like that.

But, I accept that color is a personal preference. Nice that we have several to choose from.

I see the Roadster as an "experiment", and I decided to choose a color that I've never had before. In the end, I may wish I'd chosen a different color, but I'll never know if I don't try it out.

I'm partial to blue, my self. But yellow is pretty cool also. Definitely more showy.

I havent heard it talked about much but my favorite color is racing green.:biggrin: Does anyone else like racing green?

I was sold on the Racing Green from some pictures, but got to see it in person and didn't like it quite as much as some other Racing Greens I've seen (including the TR6 I have). It's still a very nice color though and seems to be a pretty rare choice. I ended up picking Twilight Blue w/ all black interior...

Why is that? I just learned that a Gray that I have worked with for years is really named Graham.

Dave, we have to touring with Tom.

You in your yellow Tesla, Tom has the radiant red and I will have the electric blue. Imagine the picture possibilities.

What color is your other buddy getting? We need a black tesla in the Seattle club.

My friend Todd chose Twilight Blue. EricB is getting Jet Black. TomB will have Electric Blue, like you. Ferg was trying to decide between the Radiant and Fusion reds last I heard. I've heard of at least one Very Orange on order for a local owner. With 30+ Roadsters appearing on Seattle roads in the next year, chances are good that we'll be seeing most colors. Maybe even a gray one.

I believe that Gray Davis, the former governor of California, was actually a Graham as well...

Actually it's Joe! :wink:

Is this the Tesla "Racing Green" or some custom green. It's hard to tell under fluorescent lights.
