Conversions in Florida

I am surprised that we haven't heard more about them if they are that active in the conversion business. Are there any customer testimonials to be found?

They sure have a lot of options advertised. This part caught my eye:

"We are also offering a new integrated hybrid system for ANY front engine, rear wheel drive, automatic cars, '96 or newer, that incorporates our drive shaft mounted electric assist motor. The system gives approx. 28% better fuel mileage with the electric motor kicking in when most needed- under acceleration. Other advantages are a) lower installation costs than a full EV, b) no range issue, integrates into the transmission computer and c) pays for itself over short time. Its truly an inexpensive conversion for those front engine, rear wheel drive, automatics like BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and American cars as well as delivery trucks, taxis, school buses etc."

Looks as if they have another website for the same business.

In my backyard mechanic mind this is pretty much the way I'd do a conversion, Warp11 motor and Zilla 2k controller in a performance vehicle. I don't care much about top speed so I'd setup for 0-60 times and some decent range, (100 + mi.)
These look like nice conversions, I wonder if they really deliver as promised for the price?

These guys in the news recently:

High-Voltage Porsches - Wheels Blog - NYTimes.com

Mr. Liddle, who owns EvPorsche in West Palm Beach, Fla., is in the business of providing competition to the Tesla Roadster. He converts Porsches into electric cars.

From what I've gathered, while Mr Liddle ("Paul") has been in the automotive industry for some 24 yrs. now, he's spent roughly 8 yrs. in EV conversions, and 2 yrs. in hybrid.

Then there's the guy over on the West coast (that goes by the name of "Reverend Gadget" or just plain "Gadget") whom is also performing conversions:...
He recently performed a conversion of a '69 Camaro for the front man of The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Anthony Keidis.

Reverend Gadget is well known in the EV community with a big segment in the film WKtEC and You Tube videos of his favorite Triumph conversions.

Both Anthony and Flea have Roadsters.
