That's a huge bummer. You are better off with a total write-off if the vehicle. Knowing the repair costs on restoring your car back to the pre-incident state, you MUST take it to a tesla approved shop or it will never be recertified.
I can tell you, the repair costs alone are going to be in the $50k+ range based on what I saw in the shops here in Utah. After that, it must be safe. If the frame is tweaked, it's a goner.
I would push towards the safety aspect since that's what matters most. Only a Tesla certified shop can tell you that for sure.
