Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

That's super interesting how we have the same car. P3D- stock 19s (mine is 2020) but you didn't see the instant 10 mile drop I did on the fsd preview update. We have about the same range though. I'm at 295 @ 2200 miles. Just for fun I set my rims to 18" and did a 90% charge and saw a big boost...

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

tet Hmm i see, thank you for the information. I wish i had more data prior to the update to try and compare but I was pretty dang new to the car and hadn't dived deep into this stuff. So i guess my question is: prior to the update i had 310, then after i was down to 299 ish or so, if i switch...

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

Gotcha, wrong term them. Energy boost that they put down on the FSD preview update. On a side ish note: My wh/mi avg is 295. Projected is 229 and with 19's my rated is 264, and with 18's its 280. How the hell do i accurately tell how much my battery has degraded, if at all with these...

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

I have a question for you as the resident battery expert ;) I have a 2020 P3D- Stealth (19" rims) for reference. Telsa rolled out that FSD update and i lost 10 miles due to having different rims. Teslafi also has a new fleet battery graph where you can compare your battery to others. Seemingly I...

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

Thank you very much for the information, I definitely have a better understanding and will have to dive deeper to really understand it more. it's just funny how losing 10 miles is actually an increase hah. I can finally stop freaking out about it.

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

I did have tesla do a battery health check on my car yesterday since i was trying to figure out what happened and she said my car is at 219 Ah from the initial 230 with just a little over 1k miles on the car which is apparently within 0.3% of the average, not sure in what direction though...

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

(I have the heat on so I think the miles are actually off by 1-2 since between pictures I lost a mile.) Okay so I just went into my car and switched it to 18 aeros and this is what I got. 234 miles at 75% charge. So that is 312 at 100%. And then 19s is.. 224 miles at at 75% Which is 299.

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

Hmm, I have a 2020 stealth with 19s. Before the update I had 310 and now it's 299 ish. Are you basically saying that now the estimated range is taking the tires into account since they are less efficient?

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

Same exact thing as @rtshefe. I had 310 miles on 40.2.1 and as soon as i updated to 40.50 i lost 10 miles.

    Supercharger - Bensalem, PA

Latest view of the location. Seems like some cables got pulled from the last one I posted. Sure are taking their time :(

    Supercharger - Bensalem, PA

Not to clutter this topic too much, but I got the model 3 + home charging. I think i would hate having a model 3 without home charging to be honest. Seems that in the winter I just lose so much battery. But I am hoping that his is a v3 charger! Seems silly to put in a v2.

Unannounced Supercharger Construction at Wawa in Bensalem, PA???

Stopped by and these are the only notable changes I guess compared to the last pictures. No branding anywhere that I could see to confirm tesla or not for sure.

Ooh this is exciting, I've been wanting to get a tesla but I'm not sure if its possible for me to charge at home. This makes the dream a bit more feasible. I'm wondering if I should take the dive if the only places to charge for me would be: this, franklin mills EVGo, and my parents house.
