For the watt key app, there's an option to confirm before opening frunk. Can we get the same option for the trunk? To prevent accidental open. My trunk is pretty near the garage door and it will collide if it open accidentally. Thanks

Awesome thank for reporting back, this gives me hope. Since I do not have the CANBUS connector for hansshow, EVOffer should resolves my issue. Hopefully our observations and investigations help anyone else with this issue.

Nope, do not have a CANBUS connector to test, since my kit was before they started doing that. I will be receiving my tesla offer version of the trunk kit very soon and reinstall and hope it fixes it.

Another update of investigation, after connecting the original wire harness on the trunk. Whenever I push the trunk button on the trunk, it flashes black for a few second and comes back online. Did this multiple times result is the same but at least the camera is up and running after that...

After further diagnosis, I think hansshow trunk kit (I have v3 of the kit) may be the issue with the latest firmware (2021.4.18.2)... I checked the wires behind the rubber tube nothing looks damaged. I opened the trunk and reset camera calibration and was able to observe the camera turning on...

Yes those wires are connected inside the trunk trim now. I believe they reversed it due to difficulty installation many people have. Now that they are pre-cut it is not difficult to fish the wire up with the provide wire. You would need some some sort of lubricant to make it easier. You can...
