    Homelink retrofit install failure

Purchased a Homelink module off ebay and installed it. Received the usual config error msg. Submitted a request in the app for car config to detect module. SC responded with an appt of April 1st and an estimate of 350 dollars for a new module and 163 for labor for a total of 513 dollars. I...

Does anyone know the name of the factory 7 spoke 19” wheel?

Looks like the stiletto wheel, an early model option.

    Tire replacement reommendation?

I am pretty sure you will have to deal with a tire shop that sells used tires to get any credit from the 2 good ones you have. Smart to go with all 4 new tires. New tires require balancing. Ask for road force balancing and and stress you want 15 Lbs or less pounds of road force for a smooth...

I paid 60 dollars for Tesla mobile service to rotate my tires Model # about 4 months ago.

What would a rear bumper fix cost ?

I think Falcon's estimation is about right. The bumper cover itself is about 850 dollars then add in removal, prep, paint, reinstallation then I think the OP would be looking at about 2500 dollars. I have had my rear bumper cover off before and I can't see any electrical equipment at that...

Bad front upper shock mount (short close-up video)?

Interesting. Is that the original (stock) nut(s) on the top of the strut shaft? The locknut on my 2021 M3 had an integrated washer and there were 3\8's to 1\2 inch of threads visible when it was torqued down. I believe the nut that belongs here is very similar to the nut that fits on the...

Tesla model 3 my22 ppsw paint repair

Wow, it's kinda big. You could spray it with primer filler then wet sand it down with maybe 1500 sandpaper to fill depressions and smooth it all out. Then top coat it layer by layer with sanding in between dried coats. Location is not readily visible so you should be OK. This is just my opinion.

How do I repair this damage to my bumper

I can't see the damage very well at all but if the PPF is damaged on the bumper then you can use a hair dryer to soften it a little and peel it off. It may screech somewhat during the peeloff but the paint underneath will not be damaged. Pull on it hard. Then clean up the bumper and clean the...

2023 Steering Wheel Vibration model Y

The OP needs to schedule a road force evaluation on the Hunter balancer to determine the road force variation. The tire\wheel assembly can be perfectly balanced but if the tire is slapping the road then there will be vibration. The OP should request the amount of pounds of road force on each of...

Model 3 Performance Break Pads( OEM All front and Rear) $250

I would just get aftermarket pads off Rockauto.com.

    Steering Wheel “Box” Gasket

Looks like a normal amount of seepage at the power steering input to me. Difficult to determine the proper level of coolant without low and high markings but if there is no leakage then I would not worry about it.

Squeak / rubbing noise coming from doors

Yes, GummiPfleger works well with rubber seals, around the doors, trunk and frunk. I just used the last of the old BMW stuff I had tonight.
