@MelaniainLA, so my X was delivered on 9/20 hence I cannot take the 100% deduction which is fine. If I sell my X this year, I understand there is a recapture but if I buy another X, could I take the 100% deduction ? Thanks.

And I thought everything is expensive in Hawaii....Al's Tinting in Aiea, HI has done my S in Pearl White, X in Deep Matte Blue and now my 3 in Matte Red Metallic. They use 3M film. He charges about $ 3500 about to fully wrap any any Tesla.

They use 3M almost exclusively. He did my X in matte blue and I love it.

I like any color as long as it is matte. Much easier to maintain....

I configured 2/14, got VIN 010XXX 3/31. I got basic black since I'm planning to get it wrapped by Al's Tinting again. He did a very good job with my S and X. I got the aero wheels.

It seems my 3 was teleported from San Diego to Honolulu! Yesterday my ISA said it's in San Diego and that I will be advised once it's loaded on the boat. Today she called me to let me know it's in Honolulu already. My delivery is next Thursday.

I got my VIN March 31 then an email form the ISA on April 2. I was told yesterday that it's at the port and to expect delivery in 5-7 days after it's loaded on the boat.

They have a long list of employers/organizations eligible for membership (which I don't belong to any of them since I live in Hawaii) but they will accept you if you are an AARP member or belong to another CU. I'm using the latter.

Shopped around for my Model 3 and found Financial Partners CU in Downey CA had the best rates albeit promotional... 1.99% for 60 months and possibly up to 72 months on case by case basis. I applied online and got approval in less than 3 hours. They require at least 15% down.
