    3rd row ventilation

I have two girls, one 8 and the other 5 with very long hair. Maybe because their hair is so long, waist length, that this has never been a problem. Thanks for the compliments, just trying to help myself and the community!

    3rd row ventilation

Here's my current set up. Seems to actually work as the kids have really reduced their complaining today. Today was in the high to mid 70's. Ordered Grey/Grey, any pics of this combo?

Hey, that looks like my car! If it wasn't for the alcantera headliner, I'd be checking my phone app to make sure my car was still parked in the office lot! I might be biased but I really like the combo. I've gotten a lot of compliments on the look of the car. My last car was red so with...

Rick's Model S Rear Lighted T - No Longer Available

The grey car in the pictures is mine and I live in the East Bay. I'm not a professional installer but I can help you out if you're interested. PM me and we can figure it out.

Looking good! In that photo, the T looks like it's floating!

Vendor Owner's experiences with installation of rear lighted T

It's probably a combination of the camera and the time of day and the position of the car relative to a setting sun. In hindsight I should have added a video that includes the tail lights for a color comparison. I will try to do one tonight. I don't think it looked orange to me when I looked...

Vendor Owner's experiences with installation of rear lighted T

Just finished my install. Took about 2 hours which included a lot of photos and small video. By far the hardest part was putting back the large trim piece. Second hardest was removing the top most harness in the large trim piece. None of my clips broke. Also maybe because I don't have the high...

    12" Sub Added

NICE! I had Ernie do my M3 a couple of years back and loved his work. Was just daydreaming about adding a sub to MS with standard sound as well yesterday so I might just have to give Ernie a call! What's your review of the overall sound stage? I want to go simple just like you but worried that...

Experience with Photosync tint on your Model S windshield

I have photosync 75 on my windshield done by Premier in Fremont. You can catch a faint rainbow effect even without polarized glasses. Also you will notice a slight orange peel texture. None of this would deter me from doing it again tho.

Artsci, it may be good to know in advance which trim pieces or anchors may break so we have the parts numbers ready.

    Optimum Opti-coat Pro Freshly Applied

Just had my car prepped and Opti-Coat applied by Johnny over at Distinctiv_Detailing in Fremont, CA. http://distinctivdetailing.com/detailing-samples/2014-tesla-model-s-grey-metallic-3/ I had originally wanted to get this done as soon as I picked up my S85 in March but Johnny was traveling a...

Non-Nappa door panels and fabric ceiling

I don't think a photo will be able to help you tell the difference between the nappa, non nappa (at least for the US car). Its more about how the leather feels. The nappa will feel soft, smooth and more pliable. The the non-nappa looks really nice but will feel a bit more textured and stiffer...

    Lighted Tesla T for nosecone

I love my lighted T but if I could change one thing, it would be to make the LED color a bit warmer. To me its a bit too blue/purple when compared to the DRL and especially the headlights. Not very noticeable when you have it on during the day time but very noticeable at night.

    Standard White vs. Multi-Coat White

I had this dilemma too because I wanted a white one too. After I saw both, I realized that it took a lot of effort to tell the difference between the two especially to an untrained eye. Decided it was not worth the extra money and went with grey instead.
