2016 Model S purchased with FSD get free camera upgrades?

In Canada and I did ask, and was told I am on a list, and part shortages prevent upgrading at this time. Sending cameras to a new MS is more important than retrofitting my 2017. Wall Street rates my update as a negative.

    Confidence in “previously repaired”

My son privately bought an 2015 85 out of Vancouver that had been squeezed between a parked car and a maple tree. Repair cost were about $22k. Amazing how fast costs added up on the repair bill. Especially body work and painting, let alone $3k headlamps. We think the discounted market price...

    Home Charger Installation in Victoria

I bought a charger from Tesla. The electrician has to help fill out the form as some data is needed and a permit number. These folk have done work for me over the decades and wired up a circuit to my carport that is shared with my hot tub Lenius and Osborn Electric Electrician Victoria BC...

Inability to sleep related to WiFi?

Previous to software 2021.4.15 my S had a poor record of sleeping, but it suddenly started the pattern you show (sleeping exactly one hour) every two hours. Home plugged in with charging to start at 23:00. UniFi WiFi node in garage. For whatever reason since I acquired it in early Jan it had a...

Charging at home at rented house [in Australia]

Service says $22k for new battery on 2012 Model S

I think we forget when looking at the cold hard numbers people make irrational choices, oh say like spending 7K on repairs to a 30 year old Mercedes W140 which everyone in the family loved… well until pending next $5K repair sent it to the recyclers for $500. Some people love their car, give...

I get a rebate for a level 2 charger...but it may just be easier to get a 14-50 put in

My electrician is not a fan of plug-in “stove”electrical outlets. Unless “quality” equipment is used the springs lose tension over time and can cause heating/melting/fire (see internet for lots of scary failure pictures). Plus as mentioned you can store your mobile charger in the frunk for use...

    SCAM ALERT: User ‘Lubafenniman’
