    Phone Connection Issues

Yes I have these same issues in my 2015 P85D. Started happening about 3 months ago after an update. Infuriating, especially when the excellent phone integration and silent ride made this one of my favourite features of the car. Now it’s a disaster. I have restarted the mcu, unpaired and repaired...

    Homelink is here in Australia?

I have it on my screen. Tried to teach it my remotes without success. Seems to hang before the teaching step. Too good to be true?

    Firmware 7.1

does the update carry a fix for the short circuit that caused the supercharger fire in Norway? Tesla will update the Model S software for safer charging following a Supercharger fire

Spotted in Australia and New Zealand

I know the feeling, I've had mine since last August and still no spot. I've done 15000 k's mostly around Melbourne's southeast suburbs. Must be going too fast!

Spotify issue - has anyone seen this one?

Just a guess, but in settings > apps > music is there a place where you can edit favourites? I'm too lazy to go to the garage now and look ;-)

    7.1 in Australia

Not me. Been using Spotify a lot, fwd and back buttons work just fine, as long as there are tracks to move forward and back to (like an album or playlist).

    7.1 in Australia

I have a P85D and used Launch Mode a few times yesterday. The pre-loading of torque is very noticeable, and the pedal sequence is easy to remember once you've done it once or twice. Didn't feel it was especially quicker than normal though - its so fast anyway that it is hard to tell the...

Has anyone with a D tested to see if launch control is in this update?

    Spotify for Australia

I think it was three weeks after the autopilot announcement that we received the update. So mid January seems like par this time. As always, once it arrives we'll all forget about the wait.

To D or not to D

IMHO vehicle mass and tyre spec are the most significant factors in 'handling'. After that there are many many small things that play a part. AWD gives a distinct advantage under power, and as ray correctly states we are mostly on the throttle when driving our MS's, whatever their flavour. I...

    7.1 in Australia

I will wait until I see the facts about the restrictions before deciding. We'll probably be a couple of weeks after the u.s. at least so by then there'll be plenty of info.

    Seat Belt Recall in Australia

Stopped at the Richmond supercharger today on our way home. One of the service techs was on duty and came over to ask if he could do the inspection right then and there. I said yes, so he looked in the car for about two minutes and voila: recall complete! What brilliant service from Tesla Aus...

    7.0 in Australia

....autopilot completed 45kms in moderate traffic on the M1 and M3 flawlessly. Asked me to hold the wheel twice, only for a couple of seconds (making sure I was still there??). I took over only twice: when a semi ran outside his lane and encroached on us too much for my liking, and at the off...

    7.0 in Australia

is it just me or do others with a p85d agree that it seems to make less noise, particularly under acceleration, after this update. Seemed that way to me today and I wonder if there has been a tweak to the power delivery logic particularly for the front motor? Or am I imagining things?

    7.0 in Australia

My daily commute is 30 minutes on the M1 and M3 in Melbourne, very consistent and visible lane markings throughout. I am hopeful that auto steer will work well on this route. Will give it a whirl on Monday and report back.
