Not a fan of wood decor? Poor mans upgrade!

This looks great. Did you remove the trim pieces from the dash? Did you wrap the center console lid as well?

Deliver and Register Canadian "Spec" Car in California

Not quite. Tesla has petitioned the Canadian government to disallow US-spec cars into Canada because they are unwilling to perform the necessary modifications. You can find the details on the Ministry of Transportation website here...

Deliver and Register Canadian "Spec" Car in California

I own a 2013 Model S, and it is great vehicle. I would like to upgrade to an S100D. I am also Canadian and Tesla blocks the import of US Model S and X to Canada for the purpose of registration. It is a real pain that will force me to sell my 2013 Model S if/when I move back home. I knew this...

    Fun Warranty Experience

I was extremely impressed with the quality of service :) everyone was pleasant, well organized and they were aware of the fact that I had a timeline. I took my BMW in for an oil change and they kept it overnight! As far as having the parts in stock, they said that the parts manager is on top...

    Fun Warranty Experience

TL;DR/Spoiler: From the service invoice: "Removed and replaced trident cable. Verified operation. Now working to Tesla standards." I am on a cross-country road trip from SF Bay Area to Toronto and back. I am currently on the return leg of the trip going south/west through Ohio, passing through...

    CPO Delivery Timeline Normal?

To be fair to Tesla (and I hope to be right in this regard), this is going to be by far the nicest used car you have ever purchased. The way I think about it, I am buying a "new" car with 30000 miles on it. From what I have gather, my car is getting replacement seats, painted (though I don't...

    CPO Delivery Timeline Normal?

I could not agree more. A simple progress bar with brief updates would save a lot of back-and-forth via e-mail. I finally got an official delivery date of November 11th. That puts the delivery at 46 days and 4 days late on their 4 - 6 week estimate. Apparently the car is in the queue to be...

    CPO Delivery Timeline Normal?

The latest update is that they are waiting for a seat replacement. The lead time is 4 weeks. That puts me at 10 weeks after placing the deposit (aka 70 days). Let's see if they come back and are able to pull the delivery date in. This was very disappointing to hear.

    CPO Delivery Timeline Normal?

Congrats on your fast delivery! :) I just got an update that it is looking like Nov/9th. I am looking forward to another update today which may pull this date in. That would be 44 days after deposit. I have a certified/cashiers cheque in hand and made the remaining balance payment online this...

    CPO Delivery Timeline Normal?

Yep, that's basically what is happening to me. I just received the purchase agreement today, but they are waiting on parts. I have a road trip planned as well. I am hoping for next week, but not holding my breath.

    CPO Delivery Timeline Normal?

Hey Folks, I placed a deposit on a CPO Model S85 on September 26th (super excited!). I have yet to have a delivery date set and it has been more than 3 weeks. I also received an e-mail asking me to complete a survey asking "How was your Delivery?". Perhaps this is a sign that I'll get a...

    Boosted Boards

I just thought I would see if there are any Boosted Board riders on here. I've had mine for ~6 months and love it. I used to ride around NYC and more recently in the Bay Area. Can't wait to put my Boosted in the trunk of my Tesla for some destination riding!!

    Lowest Charge Current @ 110V

That is very possible and another reason that I don't want to use this as my primary means of charging.

    Lowest Charge Current @ 110V

I plan to answer that question when visiting my parents up in Canada and have access to the breaker panel. My Dad is a carpenter so I'm sure he would love to fiddle with this sort of thing and see what kind of power we can pull from the plug that he installed himself.
