Winter is coming. Best All-weather tire and rims for snow and mixed conditions?

I took delivery of my MY 7 seater in February and promptly put it to the test in a snowstorm in the mountains of N. Arizona. It passed with flying colors, but I’m pretty sure I will want all-weather tire that are snow rated come December. Does anyone know of good options for the Gemini wheels...

I can’t tell you what damage was prevented. It was prevented. I will say that a lot of ice and dirt stayed in the wheel well instead of getting plastered on the rear of the vehicle, which is a pretty fair indicator that they did something worthwhile.

I say Tesla OEM for the front. Different for the back. These are great. Mudguards Black plastic Mud Flap Flaps Splash Guards For 2020 2021 Tesla Model Y | eBay Will they match? No. Will they protect? Yes they will.

Should I full ppf my new white model y?

Full front and in front of back wheels is totally worth it. The rest, let your wallet decide.

    Mud flaps & Model Y

Took her skiing today, Scottsdale to Arizona Snowboal. In a major snowstorm, i saw SUV’s, Land Rovers and a plow(!!!) ran off the road. The model Y felt mostly safe and got us there safely. I will get winter or all weather tires for next season. I’m happy with the OEM flap and PPF.

Best interest rate via Tesla financing?

I have to say, I’m pretty happy with DCU. I think I’ll keep a savings account with them. I was able to setup some of my paycheck direct deposit to them, and the rest to my current bank. They off 6%(!) on the first $1000 in your savings account, and 1.74% for 65 months at 99.5% financed on...

PIC-7 seater with child seats in 3rd row

They will be fine in a booster too. I’m counting on my kids fitting in the way back up to about 13

    Mud flaps & Model Y

Did the PPF do its job? Or did it still get scratched around there? I bought the Tesla flaps, and some aftermarket Chinese ones for the back. My car is getting PPF in the full front and in that area in the back as I post this. I’m hoping the combination will keep it chip free, as I too...

It’s just a bolt and washer. 10mm, nothing fancy. The thread is kind of fine, which is sort of unusual but that’s all. I unscrewed it with my impact driver, put the flap on, screwed it on again with the driver, and called it a day. 5 minutes per side.

7-seater, 3'row access with child seats installed on 2'row

The seats split and tilt 60-40, the middle seat back does come down but be aware that there is a steel bar that sticks out which kids must navigate. My 11 year old bruised himself the first day learning this.
