    Opinions of the 75D

I get 233 miles of rated range on my March 2017 75D with 25k miles. Outside of the battery degradation, really enjoy the car.

    Replacing drivers seat

Mine was replaced for free under warranty. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.

    Far West Texas Charging

The write up from @eadsd has me wishing I stayed an extra night at Rio Grande Village and just slept in the car. It felt like a massive inconvenience to charge at the RV park for 8+ hours in the afternoon/evening just to get back to the Chisos lodge and Fort Stockton in the morning, and I...

    Far West Texas Charging

Thanks for posting. I just returned from Big Bend, and your post was helpful. I was coming in from Dallas with a Model S 75D, and I charged to 221 miles at Fort Stockton. Driving somewhat conservatively, I arrived at Chisos Lodge with 48 miles of range. While staying at the lodge, I was...

    DFW Window Tinting

If the 3 roof is anything like the S in terms of factory tint, I can’t imagine needing to go any darker.

My car randomly turned itself on. WTF?

It’s weird that this thread was bumped for Homelink, but my 2017 S75D was charging very slowly tonight. I went down to the garage to take a look and the car was on and blasting the A/C with playing music. Very bizarre behavior. I’m on 2018.10.4

Power Coat my Wheels Grey or Black?

If you like the 19 inch grey ones, take a look at the Rial Lugano OE Cap in graphite silver. They were $199/wheel on Tire Rack, matched the OEM tires that came with the car, and I sold the slipstreams. They match the grey Tesla turbine wheels, so I purchased the grey caps at the service center...

Supercharger - Dallas, TX - The Hill

I don’t pretend to know what a supercharger buildout looks like, but if I had to guess, it’d be something like those pictures. It’d be awesome if this comes to fruition, as the 3-4 mph overnight charging I get in my garage occasionally comes up short if on the back of a long trip.

    Poll: Is Your SC Overwhelmed?

In Dallas, I’ve been very satisfied with responsiveness and turnaround times. Not difficult to get in for an appointment in a timely manner.

    New X75D or used S P85+

Based on your criteria, I think the S would be the play. I have AP2 on my uncorked ‘17 S75D, and I also have a short commute. The autopilot never gets used on the commute and only occasionally gets used on longer errands/trips. I may be in the minority, but it’s a little more of a party trick...

    Uncorking official for most 75Ds!

Have you done the executive escalation from the My Tesla page? I received a call within a few hours saying “yes” after being told “no” through other avenues.

    Anyone Uncork a 60D (limited 75)?

It took just over 2 hours. They took it for a quick 1-2 mile test drive after uncorking and installing the latest software update (17.44). While the short trip home didn’t have too many opportunities to let her loose, HOLY SMOKES uncorking is noticeable. No regrets whatsoever on upgrading to...

    Anyone Uncork a 60D (limited 75)?

At the SC now for uncorking and rebadging to 75 (upgraded from 60 last week after they said I’d be eligible for uncorking). The estimate given was 2 hours.

    Uncorking official for most 75Ds!

The range alone was not worth $2,165 to me. It was probably worth $500 or $1,000 to me. The performance of uncorking may or may not have been enough on its own to justify the $2,165 to me. Key modifiers here being “to me.” When they told me this week I could be uncorked once I upgraded the...
