Model Y Alignment & Anxiety-Triggering-Angles on the Steering Wheel

They do not. Well, not entirely. When I used to frequent the Walnut SC, they did offer loaners and Uber credits. However, now the company doesn't offer either unless it's an extenuating circumstance.

It's the SC by the 10 Freeway, West Covina. Nice folks. Ask for Alyssa or Josh.

MYP with 21" ÜBERTURBINE Wheels and Lift; Does anyone have this setup?

I suppose I'd be okay with that. At this point, I was just looking for a solution to increase my ground clearance a bit due to some ground clearance issues. Functionality over aesthetic.

MYP with 21" ÜBERTURBINE Wheels and Lift; Does anyone have this setup?

Has anyone ever seen an MYP with the stock wheels, but a 1.5-2.0" lift? I've done some googling, and I've only found the combination with overland wheels. The images made my AI don't see that accurate. By chance, does anyone have an image of one? Also, aside from losing range, is there any...

Pressing the Park Button While Driving

Thank you all for your responses. I do remember reading that post, @red-min-t . Thank you for that. My question is more what happens when you’re about to park, going less than 5MPH. The H symbol on your MCU hasn’t shown up; I think that means you haven’t fully stopped. But you press the Park...

Pressing the Park Button While Driving

I joined these forums a couple of years ago and I thought there was a post about pressing the Park button while you’re in motion. I can’t seem to find it anymore. Pardon me if that post exists somewhere here. Addressing the Model Y or 3. Please assume the Tesla is set to use Hold. If a driver...

Model Y Alignment & Anxiety-Triggering-Angles on the Steering Wheel

I showed up at the second appointment. A different service advisor greeted me. They called a lead tech to help us both. They went over my alignment sheet. We went for a test drive and they concluded everything was fine and within spec. I accepted it and moved on. However, that afternoon, I got...

Model Y Alignment & Anxiety-Triggering-Angles on the Steering Wheel

Just an update: I spoke with my service advisor who directed me towards an exceptionally knowledgable tech. The tech reviewed my alignment sheet. Resultantly, I'll be visiting the service center again. The tech said you were right, @fiehlsport , the camber on the front driver-side is far too...

Model Y Alignment & Anxiety-Triggering-Angles on the Steering Wheel

Ah, leaning not on my own understanding --- the alignment could technically be correct now, hypothetically speaking, but the steering wheel could still be off? Aside from the aesthetic and the slight off balance triggering my anxiety, would it cause any actual issue for the vehicle?

Model Y Alignment & Anxiety-Triggering-Angles on the Steering Wheel

One extra question for you guys: Say the alignment is done properly, but instead of the steering wheel being off-center to the right, as when I first got the MYP, post-repair, it's now very, slightly off center to the left. If the alignment is proper, but it's still off-center, is that a big...

Model Y Alignment & Anxiety-Triggering-Angles on the Steering Wheel

I just spoke to the Service Center. Another tech from the same garage is willing to look at the results to see if anything is askew, especially the front driver-side camber you mentioned.

Model Y Alignment & Anxiety-Triggering-Angles on the Steering Wheel

I saw that, too. But it was from Tesla China, and it seems like it's for the Model Y Standard or LR. In the same section for the NA manual, the specs are amiss. Idk why. A guess is said specs are sold as part of a database for alignment machines in NA.

oh, it's been corrected. Both rear toes are now at 15.°
