Song cover art no longer available for Radio after 8.0 update

I noticed it too, and can't think of any reason they pulled it. I do know that the cover images were pretty unreliable - maybe that had something to do with it... Adam

Steering wheel audio select source gone?

This is the biggest deficit for me with v.8. Hope we see it back in 8.1. Can't think of any (logical) reason they removed it.

    V8.0 rant

Yeah, tied of the auto zoom map as well. It's not necessarily the zoom that bugs me, but the slow pop-in of the map elements when it moves in and out. That - combined with the slower (perceived) LTE signal means you're looking at a broken map when there is no need for it.

    First Model X with 8.0

Installed 8.0 and just took my first drive. Haven't tried AP too much as it's rush hour here and I have no need to be on the interstate. FWDs are MUCH faster. Huge difference. Like the new UI - the nav bar going away when car is in motion makes the screen real estate much more useful. On the...

    First Model X with 8.0

Dapao - in the past they've pushed updates in blocks of VIN numbers (as they are more likely to have the same components and sub-components). At least that was my experience with my Model S... Adam

    First Model X with 8.0

Just got the notification on iOS. Went to the car and started the download. Early VIN (>2000). Fingers crossed. Adam

    Experience with flat tire

Got a nail hole in my left rear tire (much the same as the OP - losing about 3-4 lbs/pressure a day) on Thursday or Friday. My tires on my P90D X were the Goodyears. Took it to the Austin Service Center on Sat, they fixed it. $80. Said they had to cut out a piece of the sound-insulating foam...

    Model X Speakers

I don't think there are speakers in the rear for the non-ultra fidelity. I think the speakers in the standard are: 3 speakers in dash; 2 tweeters in A-Pillar; 2 speakers in lower front doors; 2 speakers in FWDs. Anyone else confirm? Adam

Model X NON-Ultra Fidelity Speaker Location

Thanks, vandacca. I can't seem to hear anything from the rear panel(s) nor see where a speaker might go. The standard system doesn't have the sub - so my guess for the only odd-number (non-paired) speaker would be a center channel somewhere. Adam

Model X NON-Ultra Fidelity Speaker Location

Hey everyone, Traded in my Model S P85+ on a Model X P90D last week. It's amazing what a few years of R&D can do for the overall fit and finish for a car. The Model X is so far ahead of where my Model S was - especially in the interior. I bought an inventory car and while I had the upgraded...

Model S front mats (Tesla OEM Weather Tech) fit in Model X?

Hey everyone, I'm trading in my Model S P85+ on a P90D Model X - taking delivery this week. I have the full set of Weather Tech mats for my S - frunk, trunk, front and rear passenger. I know most of those are NOT going to fit the Model X, but curious if anyone has tried putting the...

Temperature "hold" When Out of Car

Jerry33, Quick follow-up question on the 30-minutes. Is that 30 minutes from the time you hit the "Turn On" button on the mobile app or from the last time you accessed the app? The reason I ask is that here in Texas, I use the app a lot when I get out of the car to fire the a/c back up. I am...

Can't connect to "My eBAY" with browser

Hometheatremaven, This doesn't surprise me - there are a lot of Web sites (including parts of the new Weather.com) that our "primitive" browser doesn't support. It seems to really have challenges with sites that involve cookie-based logins (since the browser doesn't support out-of-session...

    Trunk Opens By Itself?

Newscutter, Not to hijack this important thread, but am curious where you found that leather key fob holder (and the imprinted key chain cord). Thanks, Adam

UMC Tug-of-War; Could it be SW Release 5.9 (1.51.109)?

I'm seeing the same thing. Before .109 I pushed the button on the UMC connector, released the button and waited for the cord to unlock before pulling it out. Now, I have to depress the UMP button and keep it held in to release the cord. Not a big deal, but it is different and something that took...
