But people need utes. Won't someone think of the struggling motorists and their stranded ABN's? How else are they going to take advantage of the FBT tax concessions?

Yeah they're gonna sell like hot cakes (not). They're not even trying.

    Superchargers in Australia

This is the problem with self-driving generally. We hold it to a much higher standard than that to which we hold human beings. 99.999..% is not good enough as soon as the first accident happens involving a self-driving car. It does not matter if the rest of the time the system drives...

Underfloor stiffness? Routing of cables? Reuse of existing pressings or dies? Could be any or all of those.

    Queensland Electric Highway

They will pry my free supercharging from my cold, dead hands.

    Superchargers in Australia

Ipswich (or Warwick) needs something. The granite belt is a bit light on chargers.

Way too many buttons and silly gewgaws. They're firmly stuck in the past, and have learned nothing. They're cooked.

On my old Model S the only software thing I have any gripes about are those wipers. The other stuff, sure it's simple (AP1 front camera) but it does it all really well. The weird thing is, to me at least, that they do the hard stuff quite well - but the easy stuff, that other cars have done well...

Does using Tesla Tyre Repair kit require you to pull the nail out first?

I don't think I'd leave any foreign object in the tyre for any length of time. It could do further damage as the wheel turns. Plug it if you can and you might save the tyre. I have driven thousands of km on a plugged tyre but did have to put up with a very slow leak. But be careful of damage...

We've got plenty of 'em... have a look here for some good examples.

    Wiki Supercharger - Australian Index

Probably stating the obvious, but you can filter superchargers on Plugshare and see them on a map. Recent user checkins, photos, and warnings about access difficulties etc. are there too. The nearby food info is sometimes added, but it depends on the user - it's always good to have more info.

Australian Model 3 Highland experiences, tips, tricks

AFAIK you can set the mirrors to the position you want while reverse gear is selected, and that position will be remembered in your profile and the mirrors will move to it when in reverse. At least that's how my S works.

Please no. More things to go wrong, like the Model S door handles.

    Very Hot Garage

I believe it is 20A max in Qld for a single phase, under the new rules. When I put my HPWC in the sparky would not go above that, due to the length of the feeders. As far as installation hassles go - if they refuse a 20A WC, a 15A outlet would not be unreasonable. If it's electrically feasible...

Roundabouts indicator challenge in Western Australia

Two lane roundabouts always have several points where traffic can cut other traffic off. Otherwise you could never get out of the inside lane. You're in those spots so briefly that it seems hardly worth indicating at all, to me at least. Qld rules here.
