Annual license plate renewal fees - how much in your state?

$660 in the Seattle area, including $225 in fees specific to electric cars. And our governor claims to be 'green'...

    Creaking sound in Model 3

I second this solution. My P3D- started creaking (during accel and decel) at about the 4000 mile mark and was driving me crazy. I had my son sit in the back seat to try to pinpoint the source, and he said it sounded like the rear door panels. I was just about to call for a service appointment...

    Performance Upgrade Price Change!

Tesla's on a roll today - got my check too, only 6 days after sending them my mailing address.

    Testing 0-60 times

That's the one. It has a magnetic base, so will work great on your metal rear package shelf. I centered mine under the rear window, as far back is it would go.

    Testing 0-60 times

Two recommendations: 1) Get a dragy, as @Zoomit recommended. I own one and it works great with my Iphone 7. 2) Get the Stats app (‎Stats: For Tesla Model S/X/3). I haven't tried this one, just recently learned about it and it has great reviews. Apparently it can measure 0-60 using data...

    Performance Upgrade Price Change!

It's not uncommon for FUSC to not show up in your account - an ongoing glitch apparently. My account still says 'Pay per Use', and neither my account nor my car's charging screen show any record of me ever supercharging (even though I've done it several times).

What did you name your Tesla?

Indefensible Jr. A reference to the name of Warren Buffet's first business jet, and a reflection of my guilt over buying such an expensive car. Expensive, but awesome.

    Performance Upgrade Price Change!

Ha, that's the benchmark I use as well.

    Performance Upgrade Price Change!

$1200 would be a lot less painful...plus I have to think there will be many people in the used car market that will prefer to buy the Stealth version anyway. Trade-in numbers aside, I still feel like I've been screwed.

    Performance Upgrade Price Change!

Assuming both cars will have similar depreciation curves and the same purchase price, the PUP equipped cars will be the clear winners on trade-in value. But I agree that the difference could end up being relatively small. Less than $5K for sure, but I would think quite a bit more than $1K.

    Performance Upgrade Price Change!

Exactly. I predict the trade-in value will be nearly $5K less than for cars with the PUP. So how can anyone think that P3 Stealthers aren't affected by the price change?

    Performance Upgrade Price Change!

That's what I figured. Just trying to scrape together evidence that Tesla intends to do something (anything) for us poor P3 Stealthers.

    Performance Upgrade Price Change!

Have to ask - do you have the performance upgrade package on your car?

    Performance Upgrade Price Change!

Great analogy - exactly the way I (and I'm sure most other Stealth P3 owners) see it.

    Performance Upgrade Price Change!

Or in my case, my account still says "pay per use" but I am magically not charged. In fact, neither my car nor my account shows any record that I've ever been to a supercharger.
