I think it may be under construction now. Not at the IGA but down the road about 1/2 km west of the IGA across from the McDonalds. I just drove by and they were laying concrete slabs resembling what you’d expect a supercharger to sit on. It looked like about 8 stalls plus a main electrical...
I have a set of 19” Slipstreams for sale with TPMS. They are from 2017 and have only been used one season so they are in great shape, no curb rash. I’m asking $700(Canadian). Pick up in the Montreal area or I can deliver them for a fee within about 250km.
Cleaning out the garage. Got a set of four 19” Slipstream wheels plus TPMS off a 2017 Model S. They were used one season and have no road rash. Located in the Montreal area. $700
Sounds like the steering rack bolts. I believe there was a recall on those a while back. Easy fix. If I remember correctly they are aluminum bolts and are prone to breaking so it may be hanging by two bolts instead of three. If you remove your frunk tub you can check it out for yourself, get the...
I just got back from my service center and they don’t seem to be aware they can unlock my battery. Where are you guys that got the unlock located? I was at a new service center that just opened north of Montreal so maybe they’re not up to speed on these things.
I didn’t upgrade last year when it was available and regretted it come winter. If they are upgrading again I’ll do it for sure. It’s not showing up on my app nor on my Tesla page so hopefully the service center does it. Ironically it’s in for service right now with MCU and unbalanced BMS issues...
Isn’t the $35K model 3 already available off menu? Unless you’re alluding to it not being well equipped in which case I think I’d have to disagree considering it was initially going to come with a metal roof and a smaller battery instead of a locked one. I guess “we’ll equipped” is subjective...
I had a scary experience a few years ago. It was raining and right about at the freezing point one early quiet morning. Roads appeared to be wet as they had been salted so driving was pretty normal. That is until I got into the EV lane which I guess no one else was using. It was wet ice and...
I guess the ideal spot would have been where the Flying J used to be but the Harwood location is a pretty good compromise for travel between the 401 and downtown Montreal. Definitely a lack of charging on the 20 whereas the 40 has Fairview and Place Vertu. That being said, I remember the days...
I’ve noticed all the loaners are locked on chill mode lately. Not sure if it’s like that everywhere if a local thing they do in Montreal but I’ve had three in the last month all locked in chill mode.
What you’re experiencing could be a lack of lube in your wheel hub where it meets the axel spline. They don’t seem to put enough molybdenum grease when it’s assembled and they start to corrode which further displaces the grease. They can remove your hub and clean it out thoroughly then re grease...
No noticeable differences but I only drove straight home and AP was calibrating half the drive so only got to see it on the highway a little bit. I still have MCU1 and it was buggy and slow until I did a reset. I’ll do more testing today.
Has anyone been lately? Are they open? I have a service appointment and would like to talk to a sales rep about an off menu Model 3 order while I’m there. Looking for a 150km SR- to drive locally as we would use the Model S for trips.
