    Charge port damage: How serious?

This is still happening. Just happened on my dad's '18 Model 3. I was borrowing his car because mine was in the shop for a little body work (got rear-ended). I'm pretty sure my dad had his replaced years ago, so the current design is still an issue. I noticed it this AM when I went to use my...

Great. You came back to be rude again. Please go somewhere else.

Interesting, so they actually removed the capability? Love to see that Tesla has the ability to be agile. Would be unfortunate if you were non-Tesla and just drove there and found out the hard way though!

Thanks for being extremely rude. Not need. Blacksburg still remains locked down to Tesla only (which has been open for over a month), however sites that are going live are immediately showing open for NACS. So its not that straight forward, thanks.

T The v3 stalls have to be sitting in storage somewhere. They're not on site for 6 months. Make the changes while they're still in storage rather than on site. Tesla has been in the process of retrofitting sites for a long time,

Put the parts are most likely leaving the same factory, Buffalo. Why not make the retrofit at the factory than in the field after the site is up and running. Doesn't make sense. Not sure I buy this explanation honestly. Guess we'll see if Blacksburg opens up to non-Teslas and in what timeframe.

Seems backwards. If they've been retrofitting all locations, why not build the stalls with the hardware already in it? Sounds like they been at this a while and I would assume the Blacksburg stalls are new. Eliminate the step.

Haha. What timing! Although nothing would have physically changed between my visit and now. Maybe one day...

Thanks, still doesn't make a ton of sense to me. Might as well add the new hardware while it's being built. Maybe if you don't have enough hardware you'd have to prioritize, but doesn't seem like they're at that point seeing how extensive the open network is right now. Oh well. Thanks.

This doesn't make sense. Lots of early v3 sites are open to all EVs through the NACS. No idea how Tesla determines which sites to allow and which ones to not allow. Could also be a bug on Tesla's side. Who knows...

On my way back from CHS I drove through almost every parking lot close to the interstate and so no signs of anything. I don't think this location is happening any time soon. I was hoping to find something under construction that we just weren't aware about, but that's not the case. I was...

I'm quite surprised by this be a Tesla only location. It's been a few days and they haven't updated the image. I also commented on their X post, not like my posts get read. But I would have imagined all new locations would be open to everyone. Interesting...

Pretty limited selection compared to a grocery store. Especially if you're looking for something remotely healthy. Luckily this location has the Publix. Love the new Huntersville location in comparison. Obviously you can't get the same amenities everywhere. Still better locations than the...
