I have an almost new Tesla 2020 20 inch Grey Model 3 Performance Wheels for sale - $2,700 Prefer pick up in the San Francisco Bay area. It came off of my Tesla Model 3 Performance with about 6k miles. Rims and wheels look almost new. About 8/32 in tread left. No curb rash. Rare Model 3...

    Is a retrofit possible?

I had a thread on the glass retrofit as someone broke into my 2020 model 3. Since I was going to replace one of the windows I decided to try retrofitting both sides with the dual panel glass. In summary: it's a direct fit and super easy to do yourself if you are handy. There seems to be a bit...

    Laminated Glass Retrofit

If you can get a hold of the part, it takes less than 30 minutes to do. If you are handy, probably 15 minutes. Attached picture with the red arrows is where you access the bolts that hold the glass. Just remember to mark where the old glass sits thru those holes so you can line the new glass up...

    Laminated Glass Retrofit

I ordered it through my glass shop who directly went to the parts department. Via the app, they just give you the standard glass...so you actually have to talk to the parts guy. After having it for a day, at low speeds or stopped, the glass does seem to isolate the cabin a bit from external...

    Laminated Glass Retrofit

I paid $600, which now that I know how easy it is to do, wasn't worth it since I think the part is around $300. If you buy the glass and do it yourself you can save a bunch of money.

    Laminated Glass Retrofit

Ok I finally installed my laminated glass today! Since someone broke one side, I decided to change out both sides with the laminated glass on my 2020 model 3. A few things I learned. 1. Most importantly: it's a direct fit. Two bolts on the bottom, same as the old one. The new ones have the...

Sentry Mode Caught Guy Breaking into My Model 3. What Did He Take?

As you guys may have already seen in the Model 3 forum, some guy broke into my model 3 this past weekend. He broke the passenger front glass but did not open the door - so the alarm did not go off. See the video: I got better views of him from the side camera. See attached pics. He took some...

Video of My Model 3 Getting Broken into. Glass options?

Confirmed with a glass company that deals with Teslas. Direct fit with the 2021 glass. Will take two weeks to get here. I'll let you guys know how it turns out. On a side note, I looked at the video again. It looks like the guy took some cash (on his left hand) but also a piece of paper (on his...

Video of My Model 3 Getting Broken into. Glass options?

Ok guys. I took apart the door to see how easy it is to put in the new glass. That way I can just get the updated glass and I'll know quickly on the fit. Good news is: it's super easy to take out the interior part of the door. It's 3 hex screws (behind the reflector, under the door handle, and...

Nope, nothing was out in the open. A bunch of cars around and they target the Tesla. Did they think there is more cash inside a Tesla than other cars?

Video of My Model 3 Getting Broken into. Glass options?

When I saw the broken window and all my stuff in the armrest area rummaged through, I thought for sure the guy would have taken the memory stick. But because I had so much crap in there, maybe he didn't take the time to look for it. Next time I'm going to put a mouse trap next to it. With the...

I get it. I wouldn't change them out to the new glass if I didn't need to. However, since I'm going to be replacing one of them anyways, I was just thinking if its not that much more (less than $50) and its a simple direct fit, why not. Anything to slow them down is a good thing.

Video of My Model 3 Getting Broken into. Glass options?

A few things I've learned from this: 1. Alarm does not go off unless they open the door - these guys knew that and so they just broke the window and reached in 2. Bury the sentry memory stick as best you can in the compartment. Because the guy was reaching in, he couldn't get to it to remove it...
