Pretty simple. Gently pull around the edges. Easily came off for me without extra force or risk of tearing. -

Liner comes out clean and standard yetis fit nicely now.

This is driving me crazy. Has anyone successfully taken it apart to remove the rubber insert? Or actually just ripped it out entirely...

Put it to the right of the rearview mirror. That spot doesn't have the windshield heater

Actual yoke swap took mobile service 5 minutes. They had to update the software and configuration to get the center horn to work.
