I'd buy one. I wonder if R&D requires much more than removing the guts from an existing fob, tossing the door opening stuff along with all plastic, and making a new home for what's left.

In person it looks fine and functions well. Once installed it appears to be part of the original design. It is taught and high quality. My only gripe is that it is not retractable. It's either in or out.

I did it. The Pano tint is probably 90% effective, but no amount of AC does the job when the sun is bearing down at the wrong angle. I hope this does the trick.
