No these are the premium seats they look similar to next gens but these have the adjustable headrest and are generally better for larger/taller individuals but opinions vary from person to person. I myself find the next gens better for me and my driving style.

Im expecting it shouldn't be that hard as I'm removing the adjustable headrest option. But I'm still in the process of getting the car repaired so that will be the last thing on my list.

Not sure but these have the adjustable headrest so that is one thing that is different however the headrest is adjusted via a combination of the center touchscreen and the switch for the lumbar support which I believe hasn't changed So might be possible with a software tweak. But I'm not 100%...
