Belated thanks to all the Tesla employees and local Tesla club owners who helped out with the rush of deliveries around the new year! Have had mine for a month and I absolutely love it! Love seeing all the Model 3s around town with paper temp plates:)

I'm trying to imagine the logistics of the Tesla employees needing to charge and prepare hundreds of vehicles asap off the ship as they've been sitting in the port in SD for who knows how long. Will not be a low-key holiday season for them!

Can't find my VIN listed anywhere on my account page anymore. Haven't been contacted by anyone. RWD LR, ordered in early Oct. Starting to feel pretty pessimistic about this whole thing.

Did anyone receive an email late last week asking which dates you're unavailable for delivery? I did on Friday and promptly submitted my dates. Options were from the 23rd until the 31st. My original delivery date was supposed to be 11/19 and then delayed.

I wonder if the sales reps are really in the know about what is going on. Considering I ordered in early/mid October and it is now scheduled to arrive 19 Dec I can't imagine they can get one here with a late Nov order date, but who knows. A delivery employee did tell me that they secured an...

Apparently there is a backlog in San Diego for vehicle on their way to Hawaii. My delivery (LR RWD M3) was supposed to happen tomorrow (11/24) and has now been pushed to late December. They are trying to obtain additional shipping capacity but it's going to be down to the wire for December...
