Supercharger - Hollywood, CA (under construction Sep 2023, 32 stalls + diner)

Maybe the excavation will unearth another mammoth or dire wolf in the tar pits and Elon will make it a centerpiece of the restaurant as a monument to his superiority?!

    Supercharger - Fairbanks, AK

Brutal, huh? He calls out the Elon cultists and the transphobics and that's what he gets in return? Tough crowd anymore. It does make more sense that it'd be at 3 Bears since they very likely have a corporate MOU at this point. This gives me hope that Tok (shown on one of Teslas recent voting...

    Supercharger - Manning park, BC

Guessing this is by design since you're not going to hit the pedestal with them being on the side. This would enable snow plowing to push the pile back on to the grass.

    Supercharger - Manning park, BC

This looks like a way smarter design for snowy climates? Push it straight to the back instead of asking the plow driver to side swipe or, worse yet, just push a pile up against the SC? Obviously also better for towing.

    North to Alaska!

    Supercharger - Girdwood, AK

If 3p doesn't run down the Alyeska Hwy but instead goes east-west across old Girdwood on Lindbald Ave, guessing they'd run a line down Holmgren Place to the SC site (~400 ft)? I've not looked at the town Comprehensive Plan to see where else they note would benefit from future development near...

    Supercharger - Girdwood, AK

So does Tesla usually have to foot the bill for 3-phase power upgrades or is it being covered by the utility? I wonder how far they need to come, in this case? That sounds like it could take a while. Also somewhat interesting that Chugach Electric is forging ahead with new approvals with such a...

Supercharger - Kalispell, MT (under construction Apr 2024, 8 V4 stalls)

CCS adapters are like Naloxone in Alaska. Take 'em or die. Likely to be the case for a while to come.

Alaska Highway Superchargers (location speculation, discussion)

I used a 150kW Freewire battery-supported charger the other day in 0F temperatures and only pulled about 15kW (yes, my battery was preconditioned). This makes me wonder how 50kW chargers on the Alcan-Cassiar would perform in similar weather? Do all of these proposed BC sites have 3-Phase power...

    Supercharger - Soldotna, AK

This site is indispensable on the peninsula. Did our first drive to Homer this weekend and rolled into here each way with 3% in 6-10F temps. Brutal 35 mph headwind with a rocket box on top crushed my range even further. Had never seen a high wind message on the NAV before this!! Needed an extra...

    Supercharger - Trapper Creek, AK

I’ve tried a little bit. These towns are so small their public-facing IT infrastructure is basically non-existent. Better off calling the department directly.

Alaska Highway Superchargers (location speculation, discussion)

So, is it somewhat an open question as to whether the Alcan or the Cassiar gets fully electrified first? Obviously guessing the former but, with the progress BC is making on both fronts, maybe the race is on?? Now if only AK would get their act together and build out more than just the Anchorage...

    Supercharger - Valleyview, AB

The CCS charger in Tok is 25kW and by appointment only (shared with the local school bus). Not nearly as available or reliable as the Flo chargers in the Yukon. We need better.

    Supercharger - Leavenworth, WA - US-2 (LIVE 30 Oct 2023, 8 V3 stalls)

Squirrel Tree has a real nice bar and the 59'er Diner is only a 2-minute walk away. This is great for people who are towing or are in Lake Wenatchee/Plain for the weekend and want to avoid Der Madness. Or if you're hypermiling downhill and just don't trust the 3% the NAV says it'll consume all...
