Pretty beautiful charging spot looking right at Lone Peak. Up there with the more scenic SC locations in the West, I’d argue. My crappy pic from last summer notwithstanding.

Now THAT is a genuinely helpful comment, thanks! It’s not at all intuitive when general habit would be to try not to park alongside someone.

Okay, now I just really don't remember clearly enough to be certain either way. But if it's 1A, 2A, 3A, 1B and 2B from R > L, it's not set up to split by number, clearly, since 1A is not adjacent to 1B. So it seemed to me that they were paired by letter in this case?

Thanks for the helpful comment. I realize that it must normally be different, but unless I'm blind and read them wrong, here the stalls were labeled 1A, 2A, and 3A, in succession, then 1B and 2B. So to me, that implies even charging at one of the A stalls with another car would split the...

Did the Highway 97 drive north yesterday [cool, mid-30's], left Redmond with about 74% SOC and arrived at The Dalles with 19%. Thinking about how much more straightforward the Hwy97 drive would be if you could instead leave Madras at ~90% and arrive in Yakima without diverting west to the...

No, nothing. I don't really put a whole lot of stock into the rumor, though you could contact the City of Winthrop planning department or the OCEC if you wanted to see if there is any merit to it. My guess is that it's likely to happen at some point, just not sure of an actual timeline? It's...

Heard a rumor from a Tesla owner in the Methow that they’re talking with Methow Valley Trails Association about L2 and/or L3 chargers in Winthrop. It makes more sense to me that they’re talking with the City who owns a large vacant public lot in a great location behind the ice rink. That would...

Nice find! That's a helpful location. From the Google streetview, address looks to be 700 E Victory Way and specific location is 40°30'51.0"N 107°32'20.7"W.

The one at Twispworks is reliable and free. There's a nice food truck usually parked there too. 48A charger wouldn't take you too long to get enough electrons to make it downhill to Entiat from there. Staying overnight at Twisp River Suites or Sun Mtn Lodge is nice too.

Thanks for the photos. Looking through Supercharge.info, you'd be hard pressed to find a V2 in the US which has been installed in the last year. They seem to send the (leftover?) V2's to the smaller overseas markets (e.g., recent Poland install).

Oh they'd been marked previously (see my post from July 24) but the ticket now says "needs remarking." I wonder if the utilities didn't all get to it in time with the previous ask? It's kind of a weird site. There's a huge dirt lot on the north side (also owned by Lucky's Mini Mart), the...

Stopped here a few times recently on a road trip. For some inexplicable reason the NAV system routes you west on Dewey Blvd, south on Busch, east on Gilman, then back north on Harrison before turning right into the SC/City Brew Coffee parking lot. And then you have to search around the parking...
